1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the MGM University Central Training and Placement Cell Portal. By accessing or using the portal, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the portal.

2. Service Description

The portal supports placement and career workflows, including account management, profile completion, drive publication, eligibility checks, job applications, recruitment workflows, notifications, document handling, analytics, and AI-assisted guidance features.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• Students must use accurate academic and identity information tied to their university records.
• Recruiters, coordinators, and administrators must only use accounts authorized for their professional role.
• Users are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and for activity performed through their account.
• Users must notify the university promptly if they suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not submit false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, obscene, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to access data, files, APIs, or workflows you are not authorized to access.
• Do not interfere with platform availability, security, or integrity, including by scraping, probing, reverse engineering, or introducing malicious code.
• Do not upload documents that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use AI features to generate or submit fraudulent academic, employment, or identity information.

5. User Content and Responsibility

Users remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the information, resumes, documents, and communications they upload or submit through the portal. MGM University may rely on that information to operate placement workflows, but does not guarantee that user-supplied content is correct or current.

6. Recruiter and Placement Conduct

• Recruiters must use student data only for legitimate recruitment and hiring-related purposes connected to the portal.
• Recruiters must not export, reuse, or retain student information beyond what is lawfully permitted and contractually authorized.
• Recruiters must not discriminate unlawfully or misuse candidate data obtained through the portal.
• Placement decisions, offers, interview outcomes, and background-verification actions remain the responsibility of the recruiting organization and relevant university stakeholders.

7. AI Features

The portal includes AI-assisted features for chat, resume drafting, recommendations, interview preparation, STAR refinement, and opportunity discovery. These features are provided for support and convenience only.

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific purpose. Users must review all AI-generated content before relying on it. MGM University does not guarantee placement outcomes, hiring decisions, or factual correctness of AI-generated material.

8. Files, Documents, and Intellectual Property

Users grant MGM University a limited right to host, process, display, and transmit uploaded documents and data as needed to operate the portal and connected placement workflows. This does not transfer ownership of the user's original content.

The portal software, design elements, branding, database structure, and institutional content remain the property of MGM University or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Use of the portal is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Where personal data is processed, users agree that the portal may collect, use, store, disclose, and secure that data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Availability and Changes

MGM University may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any feature, processor, workflow, or part of the portal at any time for maintenance, security, operational, or legal reasons. The university may also update these terms by posting revised terms on the portal.

11. Suspension and Termination

MGM University may suspend, limit, or terminate access where it reasonably believes a user has violated these terms, created security risk, submitted false information, breached placement rules, infringed rights of others, or used the portal in an unlawful or abusive manner.

12. Disclaimers

• The portal is provided on an as-available basis.
• MGM University does not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free performance, or universal compatibility with all devices and browsers.
• The university does not guarantee job interviews, shortlisting, offers, employment, salary outcomes, or uninterrupted availability of third-party services.
• External links, recruiter postings, and third-party AI or analytics services are outside MGM University's direct control.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MGM University will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the portal, including missed opportunities, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated or user-generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to MGM University and the jurisdiction in which it operates, subject to any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply to users under local law. Any disputes should first be raised with the university through the contact channels listed on the portal.
